The results of the design are one thing, the stories are another. Each design conceals people, events and peculiarities. The following stories show the diversity of approaches and methods in design. And these are sometimes – or much more often – very human!
The film portrays Pia Scharf, who is doing her doctorate at the HfG Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach School of Design according to the so-called Offenbach model (Hands-On-Thesis & Research Theory Thesis). (Recorded: 2019)
The film is a trailer for the cross-media campaign »hfg.jetzt«. As part of the campaign, ten portrait films have been created in which aspiring designers tell how they came to the HfG Academy of Design Offenbach School of Design, what motivations they had to apply for and what drives them. To do this they open their studios and workshops, reflect on their working methods, talk about their ways of finding ideas and present their current and current works. (Recorded: 2019)
The film portrays the student Yulia Stern, who studied design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach at the Design Institute of Technology in her 10th semester back then. (Recorded: 2018)
The film shows an interview with Prof. Frank Zebner about the necessity of cultural exchange. (Recorded: 2016)
The development work at the Design Institute of Technology is characterised by a variety of excursions, user surveys, visits by experts and, of course, the actual design work in the studio. Exactly there, in the middle of the project >50, a conceptual space was built on a scale of 1:1, where questions of modularization and efficient space utilization could be examined. The room was the incubator for the ideas of the future bath. (Recorded: 2015)
The film shows an interview with science ambassador Prof. Frank Zebner as part of the initiative “Hessen schafft Wissen”. (Recorded: 2014)
