The project “Urban Tooling” deals with the semantics of urbanity and tries to decode them. Two works by Christopher Alexander were used as the theoretical basis for the urban development of Urban Tooling. The essay “A City is not a Tree” and the book “A Pattern Language”.
If one considers Christopher Alexander’s parameters (building contexts, contents, etc.) and transforms them, for example, into artificial intelligence, this could provide an ideal living space / building space or the ideal solution for a concrete building site. This could offer a great opportunity for a construction site of a Designpark.
