Patcha is a computer system for modular, subsequent installation on existing structures. One of the basic principles of this system is to display all technical parts and components openly. The modules can be glued to walls, tables or other furniture by means of an adhesive coating on the back. On the basis of a flexible carrier material, each module is also able to find support on strongly curved surfaces.
However, a temporary structure should not be the only argument in favour of working with this system. The interesting design concept also makes it attractive for private use. The possibility of attaching components to many objects without a user interface, protected from view, results in an unobtrusive computer system.
