Nanogen is a full-surface modular nano 3D printer, is about an anticipation from design and technical aspect for the future additive manufacturing technology based on trends in nanotechnology, composite materials and artificial intelligence.
The basic Nanogen module set is based on the mathematical Gosper curve and the constructions of minimal surfaces and meta-concepts. The new production technology of nanogen presents a scenario for the future of printing technology, which is no longer just a manufacturing process for achieving complex free-form object and precision dimensions, but a printing platform integrated with processing technologies for multi-materials with complete freedom and flexibility for print space and print dimension.
The additional designs created in the project (helmet and athletic shoe) are intended to communicate the idea of the system.
