Movement fascinates, vehicles fascinate! Ecological and urban requirements force a sharp rethink in the construction of transport vehicles and infrastructures in order to quickly come closer to the ideal of an environmentally friendly, practicable and attractive transport solution. Terms such as energy storage, electric drives, lightweight construction, cost efficiency, new industrial production, joint use, global markets and local niches, digitality and networking, etc. determine the layout for innovation. That’s one thing! The other thing: How can individual emotions and projections in and on an automobile still be realized in the future, when daily traffic jams have become everyday stress? The design project therefore dealt with the question of the balance between reason and irrational action.
