The German Leather Museum took part in the Luminale Light and Media Festival for the first time in 2016. In cooperation, the students developed an interactive video installation. On the basis of VVVV, a graphical development environment for creative programming, an interactive system for inclusive use was created. At nightfall one could find an interactive access to the material leather through “physical use”. Surface structures and drawings were projected onto the façade of the museum, which could be manipulated and changed with the help of gestures. The museum’s brochure thus became a stage for hidden treasures.
